I have for a long time thought about making a blog. I was pretty sure about that it should be on a sub-domain. Something like blog.matiaskorn.dk. I have a very good co-operation with a company, where i work freelance for them. So i am in a pretty good situation, which i am very happy for. That is one of the reasons for making a blog on my main domain matiaskorn.dk. The other very big reason, is that i want other kind of costumers and job-offers, then i can get through a typical “service/company website”. I want to work with bigger projects and receive complicated challenges. A blog is one of the best CVs out there for a software developer, why? It proves that i develop my communication and development skills. I can improve my development skills also by getting feedback from the community. At the end i can also use my blog as a reference for solutions on typical complications i run into.

A potential company can also see how experienced a developer, i am. Other than that, my english is not very good, so i will get the opportunity to greatly improve my english skills.

What can you expect coming from this blog?

You can expect posts on topics like ASP.NET, MVC, C#, Umbraco, OOP(Software architecture, DI, Unit Testing and so on), Thoughts about development, How i approach a new challenge. I will try to keep everything that is not concerning development away. You will see topics on this blog that is about, as i mentioned before, thoughts about development.
